Q:
Are all of your calls answered by operators physically
located within the United States?
A:
Yes, we do not outsource to offshore countries at all
and we are proud to employ people right here in the US!
Q: I live in
____ can you offer service in my area?
A: We supply
all of our customers with a toll-free number which you
can forward your calls to from anywhere in the
contiguous US 48 states. As long as you are forwarding
your calls from a phone with the US 48, we can offer you
service under our standard offerings. We can offer
service to companies forwarding their phones from
outside the US 48 using a non-tollfree number or VoIP
but please contact us for details regarding service to
companies outside the US. For our Canadian customers to
the north we can offer a Canadian toll-free number for
an additional flat service charge of $5.00 US/per
month.
Q: Can you
send my messages to my email address?
A: Yes, we
can send messages to any email address including
Blackberries, SMS cell phone accounts and more. As long
as it's a standard email address your messages can be
delivered to it.
Q: I would
like my messages sent to my cell phone as an SMS
message, can you do this?
A: Yes, as
long as you provide us with the email address used to
send SMS messages to your phone. Most providers supply
their customers with this email address but you may have
to call your provider to get it. There is no additional
cost for this service as long as this is primary method
of message delivery. Multiple delivery methods cost
extra.
Q: Can you
send my messages to a fax number?
A: This is
something that is currently under development, please
ask us about this to get a status if you need this
feature.
Q:
Do you offer call patch or virtual receptionist type
services.
A:
Yes, please see the
Call Patch page or the
Follow-Me Call Patch page.
Q: Can you
have an operator call me each time I have a message and
read the message to me?
A: This is
normally called live dispatch or call patch. We do not
currently offer this service but are considering it. If
you wish to have this service, please ask a
representative when signing up and we can let you know
the availability of this feature.
Q: Do you
offer 24 hour service?
A: For cost reasons we are not a 24 hour
service, we feel that most people that call a business
at say 3am expect to get voice mail. It's most important
to have your calls answered by a live operator during
your normal business hours plus a few hours before or
after. Not paying operators to sit at a phone with no
calls all night allows us to offer a service that is
priced more reasonably for all of our customers. We
realize that some business such as doctors need 24 hour
service and we can't offer service to them for this
reason. There are many services that can offer 24 hour
service to the small percentage of businesses that need
it. We are able to set ourselves apart with our unique
low monthly commitment pricing packages and overall
service offering by choosing to not offer services 24/7.
Prestige Messaging does offer live answering of your
calls from 9am-9pm US Eastern time which of course is
8am-8pm Central, 7am-7pm Mountain and 6am-6pm Pacific.
Q: How long
does it take to get my account setup?
A: No more
than one business day from the time we have all of your
information. Typically accounts are setup within a few
hours of receiving all needed information.
Q: Do you
offer call center type services such as sales reps,
scripting of operators, tech support, order taking etc?
A: Please
contact us regarding any special needs or setup you
require. We do offer some of these services but it's
always best to discuss with a representative to be sure.
Q: Do you
offer Bi-Lingual services?
A: Not at
this time but we do have plans to offer English/Spanish
services in the future.
